The Complete Chakra Gift Set features the seven major chakras in beautiful vibrant embroidery. Each patch is 2″ and features colorful stitching and an iron-on adhesive backing. No sewing necessary (unless you prefer it).
Each chakra represents certain archetypal emotions and energies. This is a great breakdown of each one. By the way, I bought their chakra incense and I have to say it’s some of the best I’ve ever used. (My honest opinion, not an endorsement)
Basically chakras are energetic centers in your body that pertain to certain spiritual and emotional archetypes. You’ve got an energetic body and energy (life force) needs to flow properly. Sometimes energy gets stuck and can cause physical illness. Some say you need to “get your chakras balanced” or you need to “open your third eye” for example. No matter what people say, trust yourself and follow what resonates with you. The chakras are a useful tool for your own spiritual growth, wellness, and understanding of self.
According to Wikipedia, “chakras are the various focal points in the subtle body used in a variety of ancient meditation practices, collectively denominated as Tantra, or the esoteric or inner traditions of Indian religion, Chinese Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, as well as Japanese Esoteric Buddhism, and in postmodernity, in new age medicine, and originally psychologically adopted to the western mind through the assistance of Carl G. Jung.”
A good video summary
I first learned about Chakras in 2009 when I started taking yoga classes. I thought it was a spiritual woo-woo thing and didn’t really get it. Then when I went through my dark night of the soul and had a spiritual awakening in 2013, I noticed that people kept referencing Chakras! As I maneuvered my way around different Eastern spiritual practices and started going to New Age gatherings, I kept seeing them, but still didn’t resonate with the idea.
In 2014 I started following George Kavasilass and Carla Fox who claimed to have transcended the Chakra system entirely and found it to be an energetic implant or program from a malevolent controlling force. I believed them, and in an effort to reclaim my spiritual sovereignty, I tried to remove them during meditation. But Carla Fox tested my chakras with a pendulum and found they were still there spinning away.
Hmm… So I wasn’t able to remove them. Maybe I just didn’t do it right. Or maybe my higher self stepped in and blocked me from doing something I wasn’t actually ready for yet. I soon forgot about it and went on with my life.
A few years later as I started getting more into self-development, healing, and truth seeking I found that the Chakra system proved to be helpful in my journey. I’d always been someone that felt somewhat disconnected from my body, so I found these Chakras useful for helping me get back in touch with my body.
I learned to associate certain pain, discomfort, or other sensations in the different areas where the Chakras are supposedly located. And then I learned about what emotions those Chakras were claimed to represent. For example, the Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine, is associated with our feelings of safety, survival, and feeling grounded. The Sacral Chakra, located near our sex organs, is where sexual energy is and is associated with creativity. Solar Plexus Chakra is about our sense of self and ability to set boundaries and attract wealth.
All of this proved incredibly interesting and useful on my journey. So I started to look at the Chakra System as a tool for self awareness and self healing. If the Chakra system was created as a way to tinker with humans on some level or provide another cul-de-sac on some path to enlightenment, it’s worth understanding WHY and HOW it works. A spiritual seeker can get stuck in any methodology, belief system, religion, or dogma – until your soul learns what it has intended to learn, and then you will move on. If you haven’t learned your lesson yet, you’ll stay interested/attracted to it.
So do I believe in the Chakras? Yes. And that’s why I decided to honor their role in my life at this time and create this set of patches.
I admit I don’t know exactly why the Chakras are designed the way they are. I designed these patches myself based on the traditional and popular Chakra symbols and colors that you can find online. I am aware that these aren’t my original creations, but I am trying to be faithful to the Chakra system while putting my own spin on it. The designs were also inspired by the royalty free stock illustrations by Phongsun Pasalung on Phong.com. But since he took down the original file, I designed all of these myself in Adobe Illustrator.
My intention with the chakra gift set is to provide you a way to celebrate your spiritual journey. To inspire deeper understanding of who you are, where you came from, and why you are the way you are. To encourage further awakening of your True Self and connection to your greater being. Stay spiritually sovereign and follow your inner guidance. Allow the Chakra System to teach you and be your guide for as long as you feel called to do so.
